Fiance Visa
The Fiance Visa, facilitated by Gehis Immigration and International Legal Services, is designed for individuals who are engaged to marry a U.S. citizen or permanent resident and intend to enter the United States to get married. This visa allows the fiance (or fiancee) of a U.S. citizen or permanent resident to travel to the United States and marry their intended partner within 90 days of arrival.
Requirements of Fiance Visa:
Applicants must provide evidence demonstrating the authenticity and legitimacy of their relationship, including communication records, photographs, and other relevant documents.
The petitioner and the beneficiary must genuinely intend to marry within 90 days of the beneficiary’s arrival in the United States.
The petitioner must demonstrate the ability to financially support the beneficiary during their stay in the United States.
Applicants must undergo a medical examination by an authorized physician to ensure they meet the health requirements for entry into the United States.
Applicants must not have a criminal history that would render them ineligible for entry into the United States.
USCIS reviews the petition and supporting documents to determine eligibility.
Upon approval of the petition, the beneficiary attends an interview at the U.S. embassy or consulate in their home country to demonstrate eligibility for the visa.
If approved, the beneficiary receives the Fiance Visa, allowing them to travel to the United States.
After entering the United States, the couple must marry within 90 days to maintain legal status.
Following marriage, the beneficiary can apply for lawful permanent resident status (green card) through adjustment of status.
